I have high praise for Cornerstone Handyman Services and Blake Anthony.

The job, refurbishing our 35 year-old rather extensive outdoor deck, was no small feat. He put his carpentry skills to work by adding rails to a stairwell, and installed a gate at the entrance, among other things, that improved the appearance and security of the deck. The job also entailed re-staining the wood which was no small feat. Delays in receipt of materials ordered and sporadic bouts of heavy rain created unexpected delays. However, through it all, Blake was diligent, resourceful and kept his sense of humor. Indeed, his work product exceeded my expectations. He kept me up to date continuously throughout the project, showed up when he said he would, and made suggestions that improved the overall finished product — he even responded immediately to a mess created by high winds ( on a Sunday morning, no less). I would hire him again in a minute and will keep Cornerstone in my contacts.

My only regret is that we did not find Blake sooner.

It is a rarity indeed to find a handyman who is timely, professional, organized, thorough, and diligent. But that's exactly what he is. Our nervous doggy did her handiwork on a wall during a thunderstorm, and Blake repaired the drywall as if it never happened. (Before and After Photos Attached.) He also took on several other projects that had been awaiting someone who could actually get them done. He also takes credit cards—hurray! Thank you!

Blake built desks, hung a TV and did many other things when I moved into my office.

He did everything quickly and neatly. I couldn’t have done what he did and run my business. It was nice to have reliable help.

Blake did a lot of "Odds and Ends" work for us.

Sanding, painting trim and columns around the outside of the house , installed new screens & cleaned the frames, installed a frostless outdoor water hydrant, replaced dry rotted trim wood with new vinyl trim on our deck and shored up a corner foundation post, reinstalled a piece of vinyl trim on our garage that had blown loose during a storm, adjusted the drain plug mechanism on my Jacuzzi tub and installed a dimmer switch for my deck lights. In order to replace trim, sand and paint the deck, he had to take down curtains we had put up and he got them all back up and helped me rearrange them so they looked better. Keep in mind that I am super OCD and picky. I think he has amazing attention to detail, great work ethic and does the job right. Cleans up after himself, too! Always arrives when he says he is going to and very trustworthy. What he charged seemed very reasonable for the types of jobs I had him doing. I already have another "Honey Do" list started for him, for when I have him return in the Fall for some more sprucing up around our new place. You won't regret hiring him for your "Honey Do" list.
